After her diploma thesis in biology with the focus on human cancer cells and secondary plant compounds at the University of Heidelberg, she continued working on the topic of secondary plant compounds in the field of plant sciences at the University of Heidelberg during her PhD thesis.
After she completed her thesis, she worked in pharmaceutical industry as specialist for and administration of chromatographic software. There she also gained experience in validation of computerized systems.
Currently she is working on the validation of laboratory systems.
In her leisure time, she enjoys hiking.
