Responsible for risk analysis, quality management, validation of computerized systems and safety systems.

After his studies in Mathematics, Chemistry and Geography at the University of Basel and in Didactics at the ETH, Thomas Mueller began as a programmer and tester and later became head of software quality management and validation specialist at Credit Suisse and at Suter + Suter AG in Basel.

Thomas, as the chair and founder of the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualification Board) and the chair of the Swiss Testing Boards, leads the international syllabus for the foundation level of the test training.

In his leasure time, Thomas keeps himself in shape by practising a lot of sports and relaxes whilst reading or cooking.
